People Dancing is the international event, essential for anyone working in dance.
The Foundation For Community Dance’s inaugural international community dance event, People Dancing will take place in Cardiff, Wales between 13-15 November 2014 in and around the Wales Millennium Centre.

Artists and leaders in the field will come together to share practice and approaches to engagement in dance across different international, economic, social and political contexts. There will be an emphasis on watching and talking about ‘the work’, alongside high calibre keynote provocations and presentations.
Through a programme of presentations, practical workshops and performance work, the event will provide opportunities for learning, sharing practice, debate, professional development and international networking. The event will be the largest specialist event held for community and participatory dance in over ten years.
